It was a pleasure to visit Trottiscliffe Primary School last week as part of our World Hearing Day activity, to speak to years 1-6 about the importance of looking after our hearing from an early age. There were so many interesting questions from the 60 or so children present, who also demonstrated an amazing amount of knowledge about our ears, how they work, and what we should and should not do to make sure that we ‘hear for life and listen with care’ which is the theme of this year’s World Hearing Day.
Over the coming weeks, we will be providing hearing screening for all those children within the school that have requested it, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone again then. Our thanks to Lucy, Lisa and all at the school for arranging the talk and to everyone for making us so welcome.
