We are delighted to be working with the West Kent Community ENT NHS team at Borough Green and Spin Physio to host a series of refresher training courses for Practice Nurses, Paramedics and Health Care Assistants in key aspects of ear and hearing care.

Held at Kent Hearing’s Kings Hill practice rooms, these courses have been designed to enable local nurses and healthcare workers to keep up with the latest developments and treatments in ear care, with the wider objectives of improving patient journeys and quality of treatment as well as encouraging greater collaboration and teamwork between local healthcare teams and practitioners.

Each half day course comprises of specific modules covering:

Wax impactation

Ear signs symptoms

Led by Dr Paul Unwin, each course module is taken by members of the Kent Community ENT team with specific expertise in a particular area. This team comprises of Dr Priya Carling AuD, RHAD (microsuction, hearing testing and hearing aids), Wendy Ansell (microsuction) Ruth Bannister, BSc (audiology), Anna Lawrie, BSc Hons (physiotherapy and vestibular rehabilitation) and Dr Paul Unwin (GP with specialist interest in ENT) and is supported by Charlie and the administrative team at Kent Community ENT, Borough Green.
