Dr Carling will be speaking at this year’s SAAA Congress, which will take place as a virtual event on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October 2020. This years conference and exhibition was originally scheduled to take place in Cape Town on the same dates, but has moved to a virtual format for the first time due to Covid-19.
The event is South Africa’s leading audiology conference and exhibition, attracting speakers and delegates from across the world. Dr. Carling will be joined as a speaker by other respected audiology professionals from the USA, Europe and South Africa. She will be making two presentations on the Saturday afternoon: ‘Diagnostic Audiology – Making it Meaningful’ and “Great Expectations – The story of hearing healthcare as a business’, in which she will be highlighting some of her own experiences and learnings since founding Kent Hearing 4 years ago.
Dr Carling commented: “Despite the issues presented by Covid-19, I’m delighted that the conference is going ahead in a new but equally engaging format. Having been brought up in Durban and studied at Kwazulu Natal University, SA, this event is particularly close to my heart and I am thrilled to be able to contribute this year.”
